The Arkansas Chapter AFS has partnered with the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission (ANHC) to offer
two free aquatic macrophyte identification workshops for Arkansas AFS members.
ANHC Botanist Theo Witsell will serve as instructor for the two day workshop. First day will include a half-day classroom instruction of common keys and essential structures for identification of aquatic macrophytes. Second day will start with review of first day material and conclude with a hands-on site visit to local aquatic vegetation hotspots.
